October, My Favorite Color!

The only thing I Love About October are the Colors!! Oh! & of Course Pumpkin Everything šŸ’› Yes! October is My Favorite Color!

October is the month of Change. Change in Colors, Season, Wardrobe & for Us Ladies… even our Hair Color, Lipsticks, eyeshadow & Blush (wink wink)! October is a Beautiful Month Because the Holidays are just right around the Corner & we get to enjoy those warm sips of Coffee! Can I get an Amen?! When the Holidays are here… Little Traditions & Memories Are in the Making. It truly is the Best time Of The Year!

Yesterday my Little Family & I enjoyed the evening at the Pumpkin Patch. It was Cora’s First Time. We didn’t really plan on it to be Honest. But since she took the longest nap after Church, we said “Let’s do it & make it quick!” It wasn’t the Pumpkin Patch we wanted to go to but It’s kinda fun when you don’t plan on things & they just happen. For a Local Pumpkin Patch in Santa Clarita, it was Perfect! Cora enjoyed the outdoors, Watching the People. Her Curiosity was running wild with the hay & the pumpkins & she kept saying “Wow” at all the Bright Warm Colors.

The Only Pumpkin we left with was Our Little Cora but I mean, We were only there for some Fresh Air & Pictures. Years back, The Husband & I would go to the pumpkin patch before having Cora & even though we enjoyed it, we still felt something missing. Now that we have Our Little Lady in the Picture, She is exactly what we needed. It was nice to walk around, Just Us Three, My Sweet Little Family. We are the Monico’s & Our Memories in the Making.

Throwback Thursday…

So Graduations are currently taking place & I was reminded from a Friend last week that We Graduated High School 16 years ago! Wait what?!! How did that happen?! Kinda feels like a Blur but it also feels like yesterday I was at Cheerleading Practice, Studying for a test or getting ready for a School Dance. Seriously where does the time go?! So, on my Blog today I thought I’d make it a “Throwback Thursday” of my High School Days. Let me remind you… this was the years between 1998-2002 where Spice Girl Shoes were in, wearing those butterfly clips were cool, & taking pictures with those funky backgrounds at the mall was the thing to do. Yeah… these were my High School Years.

Freshman Year is always that awkward year. You are still trying to figure yourself out. Body is changing, which means pimples, braces & the only worry you had was who were you going to hang out with during Nutrition & Lunch Time. Ahhh…. those were the Good O’l Days. Seriously, not a worry in the world.

Being on the Cheer Squad was life for me. I enjoyed the Practices, Learning New Routines, the Friendships & obviously the Cheering! Is it lame to say that I still remember some dance routines & cheer chants?! No Seriously, the other day a song came on the radio and I was in the backseat busting my dance moves… I thought I was all that & a bag of chips but Joser thought I was a nut.

What about them School Dances? I could post a bunch of the Homecoming Pictures but I will post my Favorite Dance with my Favorite Guy… My Poppa. Don’t ask me what I was wearing because seriously I don’t know what I was thinking, but my Dad told me that I Looked Beautiful… so that’s all that matters.

So this picture is a Memorable Picture for me because I was a Junior & this was the day I got my Braces taken off. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Seriously I had my braces on… FOR-EV-ERRRRRRRR! If I wasn’t rockin’ my Cheer Uniform at School… you would find me in Windbreakers & a Polo… that was the School Uniform Life. Okay but how funky were my eyebrows?! Yikes!

I never understood when people would say “Enjoy High School, Because it goes by So Fast”. Now 16 years later… I know exactly what they mean. It’s kind of funny because I find myself telling other’s that now. Time does Fly when you are having fun. I was able to enjoy my High School Years because of my Parents. They put all 3 of us (my siblings) in Private School. I am Blessed to have Parents that worked hard & sacrificed for us to have the Best Education. On top of tuition, they dropped a good amount of money on books & for me to enjoy a what I loved to do… Cheerleading.

Our Mom & Dad’s are the Real MVP’s! Now, being a Parent myself, I want to do the same for my Daughter, give her the Best of Everything. There are 3 things I kept from High School. My Letterman’s Cheer Jacket, Cheer Uniforms & My Poppa surprised me with this the other day…

My Cheer Bag! Thank You Poppa for never throwing things away LOL. It’s kinda neat to keep in touch with friends from High School. Not necessarily seeing them everyday, but connecting with them through Social Media. We witness the Single Life, Married Life, Baby Life… so Thank You Facebook & Instagram!

High School went by fast just like our Parents said it would. It all Eventually Ends. Graduations get me all excited though… because that means one thing… Summer is Around the Corner!

Iā€™d Rather Be At Disneyland…

Today is a Day I’d Rather Be At Disneyland. But since I’m not, I’ll Blog about it. Ha! I Love when Friends tag me in “Anything Disney” on my Social Media. I actually find it quite flattering that people remember me that way. I won’t forget my very First Time at Disneyland, I was in 2nd Grade. The Balloons, The Cast Members, The Characters, The Churros!! I was in Love. From that point on… it would be a Disney Life for Me! Since I was 3, Cinderella was always on repeat on my VCR, you know… those box looking things. I’d watch it 5 times a day. You laugh, but I’m dead serious. She is my absolute Favorite!

There is something Beautiful about being a little girl & just Dreaming, Imagining, Pretending. And that’s why I Love Disneyland. The minute I walk in, I am that Little Girl Again. Walking through those gates, feels like I’m walking in for the very First Time.

Now to find me a Life Long Companion That Loves Disneyland just as much as I do?… Well God Created me a Joser! When we first started dating, We spent most of our weekends at Disneyland. Sighs…. to be Young & In Love. We’re Still in Love… but to be young again would be nice!

That’s been our tradition as Boyfriend & Girlfriend… Disneyland! We even told ourselves we would take Our Engagement pictures at Disneyland, but we said it jokingly. Well… We actually made it Happen & it’s Pictures we will Forever Cherish!!

It’s The Castle…

The Food…

The Ears…

It’s really the Person you’re with that makes Your Disneyland Memories so much more Memorable. And if we are not at Disneyland… you can find us at Home, watching a Disney Movie. Ha! We are pretty hardcore, and I Love that about us.

So why do I Love Anything Disney so much? Seriously… Because I’m still a Kid at Heart. Anything Disney keeps me Young!

These are My “Must Do’s” Every time I go:

1. Churros. It’s A Must!

2. Buy A Disney Mug. I only drink my Teas or Coffee’s out of a Disney Mug. It makes my drink that much more enjoyable. I have 25 mugs so far. Ain’t no stopping me Now!

3. Pirates of The Caribbean. I Never get tired of the ride & the song!

4. Fantasmic! The Lights, The Dancing, The Music, The Fireworks. It’s the Best!

5. Pictures with at Least One Character. Come on… they’re Family!

And now that Baby Cora is in the Mix… it will be Pictures of Her & Her Disneyland Memories.

So Stay Tuned for Our Next Disneyland Adventure….
